about Bhargavi Rompally

I'm Bhargavi, a psychologist and the founder of UnwindwithB, a space where individuals can pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and their relationships. My approach blends REBT, CBCT, and Gottman techniques, but I tailor every session to the person in front of me. I believe that self-awareness can transform the stories we live and the ones we build with others.

I’m a passionate counselor and career coach dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal growth. Through a combination of therapy and coaching techniques, I create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals. I have a background in psychology, counseling, engineering, and education. My passion lies in helping individuals achieve greater self-awareness, navigate complex emotions, and build fulfilling relationships. Combining my therapeutic expertise with a strong foundation in career coaching, I empower clients to find their path and thrive in all aspects of life.

I also bring in my experience as a wellness coach within corporate settings. I have worked closely with employees to support their emotional wellbeing in high-pressure and fast-paced environments. My work has involved conducting workshops, facilitating conversations around stress, relationships, and work-life balance, and creating spaces where individuals feel heard and supported. I recognize that employee wellbeing is not just an individual concern but a collective one that directly impacts team dynamics, productivity, and overall workplace culture. Through this work, I aim to bring awareness, practical tools, and a sense of psychological safety into professional spaces.

I provide therapy for individuals and couples for relationship issues, pre–marital concerns, expectations from a partner and a relationship, managing conflicts, navigating the open communication challenges. I understand how intricate a relationship can be and hence support to weave those intricacies with care and love.

I follow an eclectic and collaborative approach to therapy. I draw from :

  • REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) to explore beliefs that hold you back
  • Gottman's strategies for deeper relationship work and repair
  • CBCT (Cognitive Behavioral Couple Therapy) to help improve communication and emotional understanding

But more than theory, I bring flexibility. I believe that every person is different, and the therapeutic process should meet you where you are. Whether we’re working on self-awareness, emotional regulation, or relationship dynamics, you set the pace.

What Can You Expect During Sessions

Sessions are usually 60 minutes long and held online. The first few sessions often focus on understanding your story—who you are, what’s bringing you in, and what you hope to change or explore.

Our work may involve journaling prompts, behavioral experiments, or revisiting relationship patterns, depending on what feels right for you.
